I Present…The Fireplace

24 Dec

We only moved these into the fireplace today, on Christmas Eve, because otherwise the little kids might have opened them beforehand. If you’re wondering, that suitcase in the corner is meant to be there.

Where do you keep presents prior to Christmas?

We keep ours under the tree. We have no little kids in the house (and aren’t likely to anytime soon!), so there’s no fear of gifts being opened beforehand.
    Merry Christmas!

It’s just you, a sister and your parents, right? Yeah, I guess safety for visible presents is one of the things I haven’t encountered yet, since there’s always been a little kid or two (or three or four) in my family.

Yepperdoodles. And I’m sure I’ve asked this before, but just how many siblings do you have?

Nine. I’m the second. Seven brothers, two sisters.

    Merry Christmas!

We originally had a few under the tree, but our youngest ripped one or two of them open so we took them away again. :P They were brought back last night.

Understandable. I can definitely relate. I can very clearly remember one year when the little kids opened someone else’s present before Christmas. I even remember what the present was.
